Calling our crisis hotline is the first step to connecting with The Archway’s resources. The hotline is staffed by trained advocates, not volunteers, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Whether you’re actively ready to leave or just starting to question the safety of your relationship, our hotline advocates will better equip you to make a personalized plan to stay as safe as possible.
Case Management & Advocacy
Every survivor has access to a dedicated advocate to help them navigate The Archway’s services, set goals, and connect with community resources. Think of our case managers as your own personal expert and cheerleader, ready to walk beside you throughout every step of your journey.
Emergency Shelter
The Archway operates Tarrant County’s only two emergency domestic violence shelters for survivors and their children. Our shelters offer:
A safe and anonymous place to hide
Basic needs like food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and more
On-site support, including case management, counseling, childcare, access to government assistance and more
Connection to long-term housing and additional resources
Transitional Housing
The number one reason a survivor returns to an abusive situation is because they lack access to affordable and safe housing. The Archway’s transitional housing program is designed to give families a next step toward freedom, while still helping them build stability, independence and healing. In addition to rental assistance, our transitional housing team works closely with families on next steps like employment, education, and securing more permanent housing.
Children’s Programming
Children aren’t just part of the background of a survivor’s journey – they have their own stories, their own trauma, and their own healing to do. That’s why The Archway’s services for kids are age-appropriate, trauma-informed, and designed with them in mind.
Our children’s programming includes:
Dedicated counseling and case management, separate from their parent or caregiver
Free, in-shelter childcare to support safe play and structure, and allow their parent to work
After-school tutoring and enrichment activities that allows kids to be kids
Additional programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual child
Legal Aid
The legal journey for survivors can seem daunting, or even impossible, but The Archway’s legal team provides excellent no-cost legal support. Our legal team helps with:
Protective Orders
Custody and Divorce Proceedings
Court Accompaniment
We’ll listen, help you make a custom plan, and connect you to the support that’s right for you – whether you’re ready to leave or not.
